Speech and Effective Communication Classes
Fridays, September 10-November 12, 1:00-3:45 P.M.

   The Family Vision will host classes on Speech and Effective Communication this fall. These classes will be presented by Karen Morris.
   The Speech Class will be held every Friday, 1:00-2:30 P.M., September 10-November 12 (this is a ten-week course). This class is for students ages fourteen and up. The cost for this class is $50 per student. This class may be counted as 1/2 credit for high school students. Students will need to bring a folder, writing utensil, and colored pencils to class.

   The Effective Communication Class will be held every Friday, 2:45-3:45 P.M., October 8-29 (this is a four-week course). This class is for students ages eight through thirteen; students must be able to read for this class. The cost for this class is $20 per student. Students will need to bring a folder, writing utensil, and colored pencils to class.

   In the month of September, many families are beginning the school year. Some have begun already. Some haven’t finished last year’s school year. (That’s okay--the school year is not sacred. Don’t become a slave to the school year; make the school year serve you.)

   Why is education so important? Why do we spend so much time, money, blood, sweat, toil, and tears making sure that our children know reading and writing and science and math?
