The Family Vision is a unique ministry being used by God to reach many with the truth of God's way and order in the family.
Our purpose is to provide Christ-centered resources to households in the St. Louis/St. Charles area and throughout the United States, with the goal of equipping men and women, boys and girls to faithfully follow Christ.
Our mission statement is Faithfully Equipping Generations. Relying on the grace and provision of God, we hope to build families with our resources, so that the works of God will be passed on from one generation to the next.
The Family Vision opened its Library in October 2005, and has since become a very special place to over 3,100 patrons. By God's grace and abundant provision, The Family Vision Library currently offers over 9,500 titles and is adding all the time.
The Family Vision Homeschool Consignment offers gently used homeschool curriculum for purchase. This resource has grown tremendously in the past four years; currently there are over 10,000 items on our shelves. The Family Vision Homeschool Consignment has been a great blessing to both those who are selling their old curriculum and those who are shopping for curriculum.
The Family Vision Library Online has, in the past two years, opened our lending catalog to patrons across the country. This program allows anyone within the U.S. to use our Library via our online catalog, and has even gove overseas to U.S. military addresses!
The Family Vision's newly-remodeled, 12,000-square-foot facility includes a conference room and multiple classrooms. We host events and classes frequently, which give our patrons opportunities to learn and to fellowship together.
Please check back to our website for current news; we are working on new projects all the time.
If you have not experienced The Family Vision, I want to invite you to come and bring your family for an enjoyable visit. Come and check us out!
The Family Vision challenges you is to make the Word of God central in your family life, and to make the Scriptures your primary reading material. We challenge you to begin building a family library for yourself and your children, using the Scriptures as your standard. It is our hope that our resources help equip you and your children to select resources filled with Biblical truth.
Yours in Christ,
John Thrower
