Questions?

The stock market is falling. Gas prices are rising. Unemployment is high and getting higher. You are a home school family, and you need curriculum for your children. Is there any way you can get the materials you need to educate your children without having to sell your car or take out a second mortgage? There is a place where you can do just that.

Since April 2007, The Family Vision has been providing families with a cost-effective way to purchase gently-used home school curriculum and resources. Our concept is very simple: folks that are finished with their home school curriculum bring it to us, and we price it and sell it to those who need it for their family.

We have grown greatly over the last four and a half years, and many folks think of us first before making a curriculum purchase. Here are some questions and answers on why buying curriculum on consignment is good for your family.

This morning as I drink coffee at my favorite coffee house, I am thinking of Proverbs 22:28: "Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set." Many times I have reflected on this, and am thinking of some of the ancient landmarks in life.

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ Print E-mail

resurrection

The resurrection of Jesus Christ has been fiercely disputed, really ever since it happened. The devil knew that Christ could not be bound in death, but that would not stop him from claiming that He was. It is important to understand the truth of Christ’s resurrection, because it is vital to the work of Christ in our lives now.

A Message from John Thrower:
The Family Vision Is on the March!

How good it is to see the snow melted and the temperatures getting warmer. It has been a long winter and I am looking forward to spring. With spring comes the anticipation of blooming flowers and trees, the robins will be back in full force and soon the hum of lawn mowers will be heard in the neighborhood. The cycle of the seasons continue.

The Family Vision is on the march in March. Since we opened in our new location December 13, 2010, we have experienced many new folks visiting the library, buying home school consignment materials and participating in the activities. The Family Vision is offering many new things for 2011 and I want to encourage you to come and visit and enjoy the many activities and educational programs we are offering as well as those in the planning stage.
