Quit You Like Men Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. I Corinthians 16:13 KJV “Quit you like men.” Some may wonder what this phrase means. It really is quite simple. It means to be a man. Be the man our wife and children want us to be. Not just a man in the physical sense, but more importantly, a man spiritually and emotionally. Let us look briefly at what it means to be a biblical man. A man is aware of spiritual dangers that confront him and his family. The world in which we live and operate is filled with deception. If we are not diligent in safeguarding our family they can fall prey to false teaching. When this happens, evolution, feminism, humanism and perversion can slowly become accepted and ultimately embraced. |
